7:29 pm	Lesson for today, class: don’t get caught in a thunderstorm and neglect to take a hot shower once you get home. You will get sick and MISS THE ANNUAL CARNIVAL, being forced to stay in bed, wishing you were dead while your sister (WHO IS CRUEL AND DIDN’T COME VISIT WHILE I WAS IN THE BRINK OF DEATH!) goes to have fun. … Sooo yes, everyone! I know you all missed me terribly while I was agonizing and Gunsmoke wasn’t open, but fear no more, for I am back in form! :D You know Gunsmoke is, right? …Right? The best diner in town? 7:28 pm	Ah, it’s been so cold lately, even with the calefaction on. Sure, it’s warm inside, but that… fabricated warm… Iunno, it isn’t the same! Besides, as long as I get my gloves off, my hands get all cold, and I don’t like cold! My poor old scars titanium implants bones hurt all over! And it’s strange, but… I feel more comfortable when it’s hot. I know there are a lot of people who think differently, but I kinda like it. It’s familiar. Even rain feels strange sometimes. Okay, enough whining! Heather dear, I’m glad you liked your gift!! Now Stanley will protect you at night, and I won’t have to call you around midnight every time you don’t reply to a message! You have to make sure to give him lots of love, but I know that won’t be a problem for you. Now my only complaint is that you moved out again. Sniff. Vacations just go by so fast. Ema, I hope you had fun at the party! Man, you know a lot of people, don’t you? Makes me feel like I hole up in a cave!! Maybe it’s because I’m married to by job and all that jazz. Hahh. More people drop by during this time of the year, because it’s so warm and cozy inside. Especially in the kitchen, even if it’s oh so hot during summer. But if I ever get trapped here because of a blizzard, I know I’ll have enough donuts food and fire to survive for a while! …Or at least I hope so. I know I’d eventually go crazy with worry and force my way through the snow or something. Anyway! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, may it be blessed with good luck! It better be. 5:35 pm	Tomorrow I'll be right there, wanting something more than, something more than... I like this time of the year! Even if it's just for a while, people forget their differences and stay with their loved ones. And they are peaceful, for once. ... Except when there's only one action-man-with-dinosaur-included left in the store, geez. Then parents can be seriously scary. But hey, if they do it for the happiness of their kids then it's okay, right? Even if I had to soothe an enraged mother, trying to convince her that biting the guard's arm off was not the solution, and that action-man-without-dinosaur would make her son equally happy. Or so I hope, because man, kids can be bratty sometime. Yes, even Heather and I were bratty at some point. Before the accident, mostly. Thank God none of us were the kind to throw a tantrum on the middle of the street. Poor momma would have had a hard time, because if we happened to team up we could be quite terrible… Ah. If I think about it that way, maybe it was I who corrupted her, teaching her to steal cookies from the kitchen! …A-anyway, I think I have all my shopping done. I just need to wrap the gifts, which is a pain to do. And yes, Heather, I do have your gift, too. I can’t hide it from you once you get here, but at least it’ll be a surprise!
